Dallas RV Show 2020 A Look At Drivables – Are we bad people?

These drivables are Part 2 to our adventure at the 2020 Dallas RV Show. I honestly didn’t like most of the drivebles there, but hey, I would live in a camper the size of a bed lol. Then we start to look at our last RV of the day, it was a Show Hauler, and I turned on a light and didn’t realize which light was coming on. So the sales guy in there came into the room Dad and I were in and told us “this is not a toy”. Then Dad and I left the RV and the sales guy followed us out and confronted Dad about his parenting. Well, that’s all have fun and safe travels.

Diablo Lake – North Cascades National Park

Welcome to Diablo Lake. Diablo Lake is in the North Cascades National Park and is a very beautiful place to visit. Diablo Lake is a BIG lake. It’s also got this greenish look to it because of the glacier dust falling into it. Diablo Dam is pretty cool too, you can drive on it but I would look to see if other cars are coming down the dam because there is only enough room for one vehicle. This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve been to. So if you are looking for fun and beauty at the same time, I would go to the North Cascades National Park. Watch the video to see what I am talking about lol.

You’re Going To Do What?

Prepare to watch us suffer. So here’s how this goes. Dad, AKA Rick, decided he was going to pull a prank on us. We include our older sister’s boys. Morgan from Not so Country Mama, Noah, Benjamin, and Samuel. He may have got us a little wet. Well have fun watching the video.


Ranch Work

Today, we are showing you how things work on the ranch! It’s a fairly simple process, but some projects take their time. Re-doing the fence and clearing out the tree limbs so far has taken us 4 days (not in a row) and we are almost ready to start building up the fence. Now, being a part-time cow taker is just a little bit harder then removing tree limbs. You don’t want to scare the cows or their young, especially when trying to identify the calf’s mother. In this case, when we found Desi’s newborn boy, Douglas, Desi became really protective. Douglas was also feeding off Desi, and the original cow we were looking for was still pregnant. So we knew instantly that Douglas belonged to Desi.

Working on the ranch has been quite the experience. Getting to drive things like Bobcats or Tractors and working with all the animals. It has been fun and also teaches you fundamentals of a different lifestyle, if one of us would choose to become a rancher.


Lake Superior

Today, we are visiting Lake Superior, our 5th Great Lake! It was a nice warm and sunny day but the water was actually kinda cold. We had a great time and played around for a bit. Since mom was injured, she couldn’t make it through the sand. So we brought the water to her with a bucket. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay very long because we had to get back on the road. Definitely will have to visit again.

Glacier National Park Going To The Sun Road

Welcome to Glacier National Park. This is a place full of waterfalls, creeks and, much more. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t like sitting in the truck all day but now I look back and think “wow I really love that place”. I want to thank Mom (Lisa) and Dad (Rick) for taking us to Glacier National Park. One of the things I love is its view, you can spin around and you’ll be amazed by what you see. Its a little scary being up there the ground was so far down. Outside of the park, there were some cows. A mama and 3 babies you can see 2 of the babies in the video. The other baby was still in the trees on the side of the road. Thank you for joining us on this adventure but it is time to go. I’ll catch you in the next one bye bye.

Replace RV Ceiling Vent Fan with a Fantastic Fan

Today, we are installing a Fantastic Fan! Our camper came with this tiny fan in our bathroom, and it had finally quit working after a while. So we outed our fan off Amazon (links below) and installed it ourselves. I kinda like to think of us as those handyman’s you call when the A-Team is unavailable, the A+ Team is what we are, LOL. The installation went smoothly, it was just the old fan removal we had a problem with, and that was because we were trying not to tear the rubber roof. All in all, it was a pretty simple and fast job.
