We were looking for Fern Valley (we found it) in the Redwood National and State Parks and we found a small group of elk near the shoreline. We also found a large herd of elk near Elk Meadow.
This is part of our Season 3 Part 2 and was filmed in the second half of 2019.

Welcome to Diablo Lake. Diablo Lake is in the North Cascades National Park and is a very beautiful place to visit. Diablo Lake is a BIG lake. It’s also got this greenish look to it because of the glacier dust falling into it. Diablo Dam is pretty cool too, you can drive on it but I would look to see if other cars are coming down the dam because there is only enough room for one vehicle. This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve been to. So if you are looking for fun and beauty at the same time, I would go to the North Cascades National Park.
