Great Lakes Lake Michigan Warren Dunes State Park

Posted on January 27, 2020 by Rick Posted in Uncategorized .

We visited Lake Michigan via Warren Dunes State Park. The water here reminds me of the Gulf of Mexico along the Texas coast. In other words, not so clear. We had fun either way.

We had to make our visit short because Lisa (Mom) was still recovering from her knee injury and could not walk through the sand to get to the water. However, to ensure the she had her feet in the water, we took the water to her.

From their website listed below:
Warren Dunes State Park provides 1,952 acres of recreational opportunities in southwestern Michigan, along the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan. The rugged dune formation rises 260 feet above the lake and offers spectacular views and is excellent for hang gliding. The park is home to 3 miles of shoreline, 6 miles of hiking trails and is open year-round.

Did We Find Batman?

Posted on January 23, 2020 by Kaylla Posted in Scenery, Sightseeing .

Welcome to Craters Of The Moon National Monument.

We started off with a hike which was about 4 miles round trip to all the caves. My favorite cave was the Indian Cave. When you first enter the cave, it hasa big area, it was kinda cold but not too cold. I wore a tank top. By the time you get to the back of the cave it gets “colder”. I wanted Amber’s jacket so I do recommend a light jacket or sweater.

Then came the Boy Scout Cave, it wasn’t really a big cave. It had a area where you can go out the other side we didn’t through. We also met this nice family that has went to the caves before so they knew how the “layout” was in the caves.

We also went to the Beauty Cave, very cool in there. It has a “really small” opening at the beginning then it opens up real soon. Then we got tired and went back to the truck. If you ask me, I loved this place. It has its spot in my favorite book.

Craters Of The Moon National Monument

Today we are at, Craters Of The Moon National Monument. This is where there are a lot of lava tubes and caves which is going to be featured in one of our future videos. There are “many” hikes to do all over the place, most of them go to caves or lava tubes. Some of them are miles long those are ones we didn’t do but we did do some also going to be in a up coming video. Some people this this is where they faked the moon landing we think the moon landing is real. So if you wanna see us be crazy chickens on some hikes an in caves be sure to look for those videos SOON not now not later soon. Thank you my friends for coming to us.

RV Renovation To Add Shelves

Posted on January 8, 2020 by Amber Posted in How-To .

Today, we are adding some more shelves to the bunk house. We decided since we don’t use the bed on the back wall, so we converted it to a shelf. The conversion was fairly simple, we bought plywood and some smoothed surfaced plywood for the shelves. We measured the bed dimensions of the bed and then cut the wood so it would fit the bed properly. We came up with a design then basically just built the shelves. The shelves help with the storage, so that’s a plus!

Week In Review (Season 3 Week 28)

Posted on January 8, 2020 by Kaylla Posted in RV Living .

This week we were busy bugs. We had to leave Kristofer Travels’ place, I cry we can’t wait to see him again.

Then we moved to, Mesilla New Mexico. Very cool, the girls and Gary decided they were gonna get up there and sing away. I feel embarrassed for them lol. While we were in Mesilla we went to this Billy the Kid place.

Then we went to Betty’s place (dad’s cousin). We hung out and rode horses.
I wasn’t riding it correctly. What I was doing wrong was that I was sitting more to the left so I could have fallen off.

Then we finally got home yayyyyyy!!! Everyone was so happy to see us again. When we got back they had a beautiful spot for the camper to go. I guess they like us…

Thank you my friends for letting us take you on this adventure.
Season 3 had come to an end. See you next time.

Shocking Paranormal Activity In The Bird Cage Theatre

Posted on January 6, 2020 by Amber Posted in Sightseeing .

Today, we are exploring the paranormal activity inside the Bird Cage Theatre. Everything is this video that you see/hear is REAL!

The Bird Cage was the most famous “honky-tonk” in America between 1881 and 1889. In the 9 years that the Bird Cage was open, it had been open 24/7, 7 days a week. Before the Bird Cage closed in ’89, there had been 16 gunfights and 140 bullet holes, which are still in the building to this day. The Bird Cage also has had many deaths there.

When the mines flooded, the Bird Cage was never ruined by the water. But because the mines flooded, the owners of the Bird Cage decided to close their doors, but left everything inside, optimistic that somebody would later open the mines again. But when the owners came back in 1934 and saw that everything in the building was still intact, the Bird Cage then became a historical landmark.

The Bird Cage Theatre was rated #1 Most Haunted Landmark in America and had been investigated by 3 different paranormal teams. Knowing all of this information, we decided to check it out for ourselves. We walked in as skeptics and left as believers.

Week In Review (Season 3 Week 27)

Posted on December 31, 2019 by support@openallday.net Posted in RV Living, Sightseeing .

This week we went to The Bird Cage Theatre in Tombstone. This place is “haunted” by the ghosts of all the people that were killed there.

Then we moved on to the O.K. Corral, also in Tombstone, Arizona. I loved this place. I will never ever forget these memories that we made this year.

Then we went to Chiricahua National Monument. In my opinion the rocks there looked like burritos and enchiladas lol.

Thank you for picking our videos and reading my description. We enjoy taking you to these places and sites as we make memories you are too.

See Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Virgil and Morgan Earp in a reenactment of the a 30-second shootout between lawmen and the McLaurys and Clantons as members of a loosely organized group of outlaws called the Cowboys. This took place at approximately 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 1881 in Tombstone, Arizona Territory.
