We got to experience one of the better Pizza Ranch restaurant today in Casper, Wyoming. We visited a few in Iowa several years back We also checked out the one in Billings, Montana about 5 years ago when my Dad passed away.
I think my favorite is the one in Casper partly because it has a nice game room. I do not recall if the one in billings did or not but the ones in Iowa definitely did not have games rooms and they were a lot smaller place.
Their basic idea is an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes pizza, fried chicken with side items, salad, and dessert. What’s not to love?

Paint Rock Lakes were one of my Dad’s favorite places and I had never been (at least not that I can remember).
The lakes are at a super high elevation and you can hear that in the video when I am trying to breath. This hike was not that long but we are not used to the elevation.
Lower Paint Rock Lake is out in the open in a field while Upper Paint Rock Lake is nestled in the trees and rocks. Can you guess which one we prefer?

Today, we are taking the long and bumpy ride to the Paint Rock Lakes. Paint Rock Lakes were one of my Dad’s favorite places and I had never been (at least not that I can remember).
The lakes are at a super high elevation and we had about a 30 degree temperature drop before we got to them. We made this drive on July 9, 2019 and you can see in the video the we are visited by snow/sleet.
We spent some time driving very slowly since some of the roads were terrible. There was even a sign that warned about hazardous roads. It took us most of the day to drive approximately 65 to 70 miles. But, we did see some gorgeous countryside and a few wild animals including deer and moose. We saw very few people.

Our home-base is in an area of Texas that does not normally get any snow. Well, on January 10, 2021, we got over 4 inches. We were able to go sledding on some of the hills on the ranch. Then, we all had fun getting a little crazy on the ATVs (4wheelers or quads).
We did the #RVStickerClub on Instagram where RVers swap stickers with other RVers.

Today, we show you some of the drive from when we went to Shell Falls in the Bighorn Mountains. The video from Shell Falls was made available one week before this video.

This spot is a favorite of many members of our family and it is referred to as Freeze Out. It is a very beautiful spot and the drive to it is wonderful.
When you google Freeze Out Point, Google Maps returns a location a few dozen miles to the north. I have provided information below to locate this exact spot. This is one of those places that takes you more than 2 hours to go 18 miles one way. A high clearance vehicle is needed and a 4 wheel drive is recommended.

Join us as we visit bears up close. They are obviously not wild, but the Oswald Bear Ranch is a rescue location for bears.
Dad had a baby bear try to climb his leg when we were getting pictures with the baby bear. Of course, the workers had our camera and did not capture that part. So sad.
